i'm super sketchy for this evenings ride. my wife has been on bed rest for the last week because she went into labor early. she's supposed to be chilling out at home today but our sitter has a house full of stomach illness so our 3 year old evan stayed home today to avoid that mess. bed rest and 3 year olds are mutually exclusive. i'm not sure how much moving around stacey's going to have to do during the day to keep up with evan but if it's much at all then i'm going to need to hang around the house this evening to give her a break. if things work out well and our neighbors show up to take evan to the pool and do some other things that will keep him out of the house then there's a chance i can ride.
wonder if i could duct tape evan to my camelback....
bottom line = maybe i'll be at foo bridge at 6pm.

it's too wide for the single track. i'm also not too keen on the way the linkage gets stressed in off-camber situations. otherwise you bet i'd be dragging evan all over the trails.

on a side note, the rollercoaster gateway was dismantled at 815am today
(at least there were no signs of branch and log blockers on it).
so, i constructed three pint sized blockades this am.
