my rain gauge shows that we've had about 1/3 of an inch of rain over the last 48 hours. i don't expect that to be enough to soften the trails to the point that they shouldn't be ridden. so i'm planning on the usual 6pm foo bridge start for a ride tonight. the forecast calls for a chance of thunderstorms later this afternoon. if that comes true and we get a bunch of rain then i'll bail on the ride, but otherwise, hope to see you there.

I am out of town this week but hope to be out there next week. I bought a 2008 Redline 29er Monocog and should have it by that time.

where'd you find it? i saw one on craigslist yesterday but i think it was a 2010, not an '08.

It was on the Richmond craigslist but I first heard about it from an item the owner posted on a Bridgestone Owners Bunch (iBOB) list. It is pristine original condition with the addition of a Chris King headset and BB5 brakes. I think it is running a 32x20 drivetrain which is almost exactly the same as the 34x19 that I am running on my 26er. Quarry, here I come (next week).
