copied from another post...

A friend has offered me the use of his tractor. It has a bucket on the front and claw scraper on the back - does a good job of grabbing dirt. He can let me have it for a day, so we're taking two days to expand the pump track (and getting some help from R-MC students too).

Day 1: Saturday, Nov 6 - 1 PM to 3 PM:
prep the area for the dirt - this entails some raking and chopping the staubs out of the area where the rollers are going.

Day 1.5: Saturday, Nov 13 - all day:
I will move dirt (hopefully lots) into position for day 2. Anyone is welcome, but not a "work" day - unless you also want to bring a tractor and help carry dirt into position (highly recommended! :-)

Day 2: Sunday, Nov 14 - 9 AM to Noonish:
shape the rollers - and ride them. Pizza will be provided for lunch

Note: Day 1 will also be open to some discussion on where the new rollers should go - so it's not all work, those attending will participate in the planning.

Here are some before/after pics of track prep done today - they aren't taken exactly from the same spot (not enough forethought on my part) but you can get the idea.
Thanks much to the Randolph-Macon guys for helping so much - looking good.
I took a few photos, but they are not uploading [?] so check Facebook for some pics.

Oh - if you couldn't make it today, come on out next Sunday (Nov 14) at 9 AM and help stomp down some dirt (and eat pizza!).

Alan, William and I went to check out trails and pump track at Washington Lacy today. It was so much fun. The trails were nice and the pump track was incredible. Our 2.5 year old loved it too. Can't wait to go back.

Mark, it was great meeting you too!

Took some video with my phone.

Sorry we missed it. We've all been battling a cold and wanted to spend the weekend getting better. Found out over the past week that sick kids are no fun.
